My Review: This is a fairly entertaining book. I did find that it really drug in areas and the suspense could have been punched up a bit. I didn’t mind the references to the mushroom hunting like some readers seemed to. The characters were a little flat though. I think the writing could use a little help. In all though I enjoyed the book and would read the second one to maybe find out more about the monster. The twist of the author threw in did surprise me. I give it a three star.
