The Orc of Many Questions by Shane Michael Murray

Today I am reviewing The Orc Of Many Questions by Shane Michael Murray.

ORC

Blurb: Orcs don’t like questions. Everybody with a brain knows that. Orc tribes save their strength for fighting, not thinking. They survive by raiding the lands of weaker races, repeating it year after year to offer tribute to the masters of their mountain home.

Life on Firebrand Peak is short and nasty. Death comes quickly and the fallen are soon forgotten. Generations pass, yet the tribe remains brutally the same.

Until one little orc starts asking too many questions.

My Review: I loved this fantasy story. It would be great for all ages. Love how it weaves elves, dragons, giants, orcs and all manner of fantasy creatures into the story. The adventures or misadventures of one little orc are very entertaining. I would love to read more of what happens to Talking Wind. I would highly recommend this to anyone who would like a fresh take on the fantasy realm. I give this book 5 stars.

Incantation Paradox by Annamaria Bazzi

Today I am reviewing Incantation Paradox by Annamaria Bazzi.

INCANTATION

Blurb: Magic is an illusion. It doesn’t really exist. Or does it?

A horrible car accident destroys Dolores Reynard’s life. But instead of waking up in a hospital bed, she awakens in a teenager’s body. Soon, she discovers she is at the heart of the murderous mystery surrounding the death of Mona, the young girl whose body she occupies. Caught between an evil greater than she ever imagined and a wizard who heals her tattered heart, she is forced to play a dangerous game of intrigue in the hopes of finding a way to return to her previous life.

Will magic be her ally, or will it lead to her demise once and for all.

My Review: I received the beta readers copy of this book to review. I really enjoyed the story. It had good creep factor. The whole essence in another body thing was a great take on paranormal. Loved the main character Delores. Hated Eric/Brian but then you are suppose to. The ending was great if a little hurried. Since I had the beta copy I won’t worry about editing issues as I am sure those got worked out before the final product. I recommend this book to the lover of the paranormal. It gets 5 Stars.
