The Breakers Ultimatum By Conner Kressley

Today I am reviewing The Breakers Ultimatum by Conner Kressley.

BREAKERS

Blurb: Separated from the love of her life, Cresta is determined to get him back before making a break from the dreaded Hourglass. The trouble is, she’s the only one who doesn’t think it’s a suicide mission. Throw in the fact that her powers are spiraling out of control and Royce seems to be the only one who can help, and things seem hopeless. But when Casper reveals a startling connection to a previously unknown piece of the prophecy, it sets Cresta on a path that will take her further away from Owen than she ever wanted to be. Can she find a way to stop the madness before the world itself crumbles and, even if she does, will she find that fate has pushed her into the arms of Royce?

The Dragon lives…

Meanwhile, deep within the bowels of the Hourglass, Owen Lightfoot sits a prisoner of the Council. His powers are growing too, and the Council is foaming at the mouth to use him as a weapon…against the woman he loves. With the safety of his family hanging in the balance, he is left with no other choice but to play along. But when a strange occurrence throws a whole new light on everything, the lines start to become blurred. Sacrifices will be made, connections will be tested and, by the end, either the Dragon or Owen will be gone forever.

My Review: This is the third book in this series. The action gets ramped up a notch in this book as the Blood Moon and The Dragon both fight their own individual battles and deal with new powers. Loved the further development in this unique story. I was disappointed with one thing though. It ended and now I have to wait for the next book to come out. Can’t be too soon for me. If you are into paranormal stories this is one you should get now. I give this book 5 stars.
