My Review: I think this is my favorite book by this author so far. I love all the fact of distilling that are woven into this story. The main character Ava is a rich and complex woman that gives much to the story. There is enough action to keep you interested and a twist or two along the way. I give this book a 5 star.

Louisiana Longshot by Jana Deleon

My Review:  This book is just what I needed to read after the creepy murder one I read last. This one is full of laughter and still has a thread of mystery running through it. The older ladies of Sinful keep things hopping every minute and it has a great ending that will keep me reading more of the Miss Fortune sagas. I give this book  solid 4 stars for keeping me laughing.

My Review:  Creepy. A good creepy if you are into thriller books. I got really engrossed in the book. It is like an intense criminal minds show. If you get spooked by noises in the night you might want to read it in the daytime though. There are a few editing problems but it is a good read I give it 4 stars.

My Review: Wow! I was totally absorbed in this book. Love rich historical novels. This one wove such a fascinating tale of Russia in the time of Ivan the terrible. Told from the view point of a young kitchen maid and a half Russian half English noble it moves along at a good pace. I see some reviewers referring to the length of the book but my only complaint is that it ended when it it did. I could have stayed lost in this world for a lot longer I sincerely hope there are follow up books. I highly recommend this book. I give this 5 stars.

My Review: This book is great. The authors style reminds me a great deal of Dean Koontz. Love the supernatural. It is paced well and the writing is great. I highly recommend this book. Can’t wait to read more of what happens to the main character in the next book. I give this book 5 stars.

My Review: What a treat to visit Heron Island once more. MS Moss does a wonderful job of putting you into the story and making it seem like you are visiting friends. The book draws you in to the characters and surroundings it is if you were there. Having spent some of the best times at seaside towns I loved this book. I have read the other Windchime books and this one is a wonderful addition to the series. I give this book 5 stars.

My Review. I loved this book. I could just leave it at that. Anyone who loves the thriller who done it type books should read this one about the elusive serial killers and the ones who hunt them , both the legal hunters(FBI) and the shadowy illegal ones. This book can keep you guessing almost to the end. I give it a 5 star review.

My Review: This was a different twist on the end of the world concepts. This time everyone know when it will happen and apparently they keep rewinding time to try to fix the fact that is going to happen. Confused yet?. I admit there are times in the book when I was a little confused as well. This time there are enough things different about the rewind that no one seems to really know what to think about it. There is lots of action and drama with a little romance thrown in and it does make an enjoyable read. I give this 3 stars.

My Review: I really feel this should be a must read. The deeply moving and truly horrifying events that take place when you live in a war zone should be felt by everyone. Maybe we would tend to think twice about the value in war. I truly hesitate to say I loved the book seeing how so much sadness was dealt with, however I did think it was delivered in a masterfully way. The way the characters grow  and evolve throughout the book and learn to deal with the tragedies of the past and move beyond them is inspiring. I give this book 5 stars. If you like historical novels this one is for you.

My Review: I am never disappointed when I read one of this authors books. I love his time travel concepts and the characters he weaves into them. This story is no exception. Really like the time period this book deals with and the relationships that develop between the modern day father and son and the people of the past. In meantime you get to learn about a few historic facts of Galveston Texas. The twist at the end was great too. I give this book a full 5 stars. Keep up the good work Mr. Heldt. You have a fan here.
